What’s a wedding trend you’re loving right now?
Anything that steps away from the noise of Pinterest / Instagram. I love when clients come to me with inspiration based on their home decor, or a favorite restaurant vs. what they’ve found online – that’s where the true inspiration comes from!
Name a wedding venue you love and share with us what’s so special about it:
In the southeast, I absolutely love Pippin Hill Farm & Garden – it’s not only a gorgeous location, but the food and beverage experience is hard to beat in the south and their team takes care of not only our clients, but our team as if we were their own. In Napa Valley, Beaulieu Garden has become my home away from home – it’s like stepping into an old European garden complete with climbing roses, lush hedges, cypress trees, and the entire property is manicured down to the last blade of grass. Paula leDuc Fine Catering amplifies the experience tenfold with their incredible food and beverage program and is quite literally, the icing on the cake!
If you could give one piece of advice to brides, what would it be?
Try to take a moment on your wedding day and look around – the joyous hearts filling that room are all there to celebrate and support you and your partner on this special day. It’s an incredible feeling to be surrounded by that much love – soak it in!
What dance song do you think should be played at every wedding reception?
I love a mix of the old and new (you can’t go wrong with a little Bruno Mars, ever) but I will always be dancing in the back when Shout comes on. It’s the universal, timeless song that has that magical ability to get guests of all ages on the dance floor.
